ABOUT US
Welcome to Rohr Chabad
at The University of Chicago!
Our goal is to create a place where all students can feel at home. Regardless of your affiliation or observance, at Chabad you will find a non-judgmental atmosphere, where being Jewish is fun.
We invite you to participate in our programs, join us for a Friday night Shabbat dinner, or just stop in to hang out.
If we don't know you yet, we look forward to meeting you!

About Chabad:
The Rohr Chabad Center was founded on the principle that Jewish students, regardless of personal practice, deserve a space on campus where they can feel comfortable, without labels or judgment. At Chabad, we consider it a distinct privilege to facilitate your Jewish journey.
Browse our website and see what appeals to you – there is no right way to engage with our diverse tradition. Like our Facebook page for updates on Shabbos dinners and special events. We would also encourage you to stop by the Center on 57th and Woodlawn to see what’s going on – have a bite to eat, ask a question, or just sit comfortably! Whatever you decide to do, know that there is a vibrant Jewish community waiting just for you.
We look forward to seeing you!
